On 10 July 2012, at the Chamber of Commerce in via de’ Burrò 147 in Rome, an agreement was signed between young entrepreneurs and the professionals of Rome and Lazio, creating the “Youth Consultation Group for the Professions and Business”.
This was a formal act whereby representatives of the different areas of the Roman economy – notaries, lawyers, certified accountants, engineers, architects, entrepreneurs from small and medium businesses, real estate developers, industrialists and retailers – have put together a project for the development of a shared information network.
The goal of the project is to promote increased responsibility amongst the young generations, both within their respective systems of representation and within their chosen areas of professional activity, to foster an economic upturn and generational change, to encourage new investment and to stimulate new ideas.
During the meeting, attended by the President of the Province of Rome, Nicola Zingaretti, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, Giancarlo Cremonesi, a number of Consultation Group projects were illustrated for the second half of 2012. In coming months, committees and working groups will start work on overcoming the current lack of coordination among the associations while addressing specific issues.
The agreement was signed by: Alessandro Cardellini, Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori Edili ACER; Katia Paglia, Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori Edili ANCE Lazio Urcel; Alessio Rossi, Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori Unindustria; Alessandro Ridolfi, Consulta Giovanile Architetti Roma; Andrea Condomitti, Commissione dei Giovani Ingegneri di Roma e Provincia; Andrea Borghini, Unione Giovani Dottori Commercialisti ed Esperti Contabili di Roma (UGDCEC Roma); Andrea Greco, Associazione Giovani Avvocati Roma (AIGA); Luigi Viglione, Associazione Italiana Giovani Notai Roma (ASIGN); Giovanni Plocco, Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori Federlazio; Alessandro Micheli, Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori Confcommercio Imprese per l’Italia – Roma Capitale.
